In this method, parameters such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity in the storage environment are specifically controlled. While the amount of oxygen is generally reduced, the level of carbon dioxide is increased and appropriate temperature and humidity conditions are provided. In this way, food spoilage is slowed down and the freshness of the products is preserved, resulting in a longer shelf life.
